My cousin Andrea had been in a relationship with her boyfriend Johnathan for about six years. For the most part everyone in the family thought they had a very happy relationship with no problems. One day my aunt Carol was at the local shopping mall and from a distance thought she had seen Andrea from afar but wasn't quit sure as the lady had on dark sunglasses. Carol decided to get closer and as she did she realized it was her niece but she could not believe what she saw.
Andrea was wearing the sunglasses to hide a terrible bruise under her right eye which was almost closed and a series of scratches on her face. This disturbed Carol as this was her favorite niece and was shocked and curious as to how it happened. Immediately Andrea broke down and shared with her aunt that she had been in an abusive relationship with Johnathan and he routinely beat her and kept her from the family.
Carol heard about this new product called the Pepper Spray Stunning Ring during a safety presentation that was given by a local business owner at her job. Andrea went on to tell her aunt that she was scared to leave and that he is not always as abusive and felt she would be in greater danger if she decided to leave right away . She needed time to put together a plan because she was feed up but wanted to protect herself and her children . Carol decided to buy her the ring as protection until she could put an exit plan together for leaving her husband for good.
